Nokia is soon going to announce its first premium high-end smartphone for this year named the Nokia 8. Well, we have already seen the press renders of the phone, thanks to Evan Blass. He leaked two renders that show the phone in Blue and Silver color. First impressions of the design were pretty average as no one imagined that Nokia would use the same design language as it used for the Nokia 6 and other android phones that it launched this year. There is no bezel-less design or whatsoever.

Now, we have got some exclusive hands-on images of the Nokia 8 that reveal another color of the phone which is the Gold-Copper. It somewhat looks like HTC U11’s Solar Red color. These images give us the best real life look at the phone so far. And yes, it is a normal sized device as seen in the images. One thing that you are going to notice in the images is that there is no ‘Zeiss’ branding on the rear camera module which was there on the press renders leaked by Evan Blass. So, this is because the phone that is shown in the images is a pre-production unit.

Coming to the design, the Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch Quad-HD display. We can surely expect the display to be crispy and full of colors. The images show the working unit of the device as you can see two images with one showing the boot screen whereas the other showing the lockscreen of the phone which is similar to the stock Android’s lockscreen. So, no doubt that Nokia 8 will arrive with an almost stock like Android experience except for the icons that will be same as of the Nokia 6,5 and 3.

The phone has front-facing fingerprint scanner with capacitive touch buttons on the either side. The Earpiece, Front-facing camera, sensors and the Nokia logo is on the top. On the back, we have the dual camera setup with Zeiss Optics, Laser Assisted Autofocus, and Dual LED Flash. Below that is the Nokia logo. On the bottom of the phone, there is a USB Type-C port, Speaker Grill, and primary microphone. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still there on the phone, and it is placed on the top. There are no antenna lines on the rear, and they are moved to the top and bottom of the phone that make the back look cleaner.
